Hi doe’s anyone know anything about this website? Only it seems to have vanished. http://www.organeze.freeserve.co.uk I do have all the info from the website somewhere including all the documentation downloads and so on. Just was looking for any updates on the organeze system.
I know the Organeze player boards were still available Feb 2006 from the USA. I have emailed Andy Kubica who acquired rights to make and sell the Organeze player systems but my emails keep getting bounced.
So if anyone has any updates please let me know. I’m only looking for any updates for my personal archives as they maybe helpful to organ builders/restorers in the future.

Hi Phil! I had a lot of problems with this website. After a lot of research I found out that after the death of the founder Jim Anderton, the family kept the website 'alive' for about a year. He wanted to donate his fairground organ plans free of charge to all that were interested. Andrew Kubica was still 'up and running' on March 1st.2007, the last contact I had with him. He has changed his email details. The last update I have is < andrito2@sbcglobal.net>. Andy still had all the details of the 'original' fairground organ plans and the 'second' organ plans. He emailed them to me, very interesting reading, especially the 'footless' bourdons and his 'unique' reed pipes. Pipe scales and all construction details are all well laid out. His 'organeze' system is still available, supplied without G.B mains adapter. Will not work with Apple Mac though! Hope this information helps! Regards, Martin.

Hi Phil, Its me again! Found the information I was looking for last night. Andrew now calls the 'Organeze' player systems 'e-systems'. His website is www.Playerorgan.com The system is fully illustrated and explained on this site and although it is now 'old technology' by today's standards, still does the job well! James Anderton's 'original' fairground organ was quite a large instrument and I would imagine quite loud, the 'second'organ was developed when James was in his 80's and failing health, when he realized "the old urges didn't go away and though beset by sundry weaknesses I was not actually dead". A great character! He completed the instrument and published the details for all. Named 'Omega 2'(the end of an era) Sized 46" long,17" front to back,32" from top of wind chest to the lid. There are four chromatic octaves with added bottom F. The setup matches a lot of music available eg. Gaviolli. There are 40 flue pipes all double mouthed, 24 violin pipes, each of which are two pipes 'back to back' for volume, and 41 reeds as basses! Good detail and circuitry for percussion and repeat drum roll, based on 74ls123 chips. Andrew was able to send me the details of both organs as 'attachment' files to an email. All the best, Martin. |

Hi Phil! I have contacted Andy today on his email address. All is in order, the website is running as normal and he would welcome any inquiries by members. He is able to supply the 'organeze' player system and is still as keen as ever to help in any way. Regards, Martin. |
