Well that’s very nicely done. Is it based on any particular design?
I see your not using a solenoid to do the punching.

Thank you.
It is based on the several pictures and videos posted online by other builders (thank you all) and some previous experience building CNC routers.
And there was once a prototype (version I) that showed several flaws and shortcomings. You can see the old version at :

I had problems with solenoids before. Returning the punch with a spring caused jamming at times, also the solenoid overheated.
Now I use a motor with an eccentric mounted ball bearing, it rolls on a bar with an oblong race that drives the puncher.
I think the following picture will show it better than words.
