Does anyone know where I can find schematics to build a cheap MIDI pipe driver board? Or kits?

Sorry, don’t know of any kits but I use j-omega boards. Cheep works every time and A1.

You may want to check out the midibox devices and kits described on the website
midibox.org or www.uCApps.de. I am using the core kits and Dout kits to drive pipe magnets. Currently I have 5 ranks of pipes running, using jOrgan as a relay.

I bought some of the DOUT boards awhile back, but have not assembled them as of yet (using ULN drivers on the board). I was also looking to use an SD card player for the MIDI files.

Do you find the DOUT circuit boards to be heavy enouph to handle lets say 50 ohm pipe valve magnets? The ground traces look small, especially to handle many pipes on all at once.

Where can I find JOrgan info?

We are working on a SD Card Midi player, but have been covered up with work for the last month.

It is quite a way's off. Probably 6 months or so, until it will be available on the market.

I do not know of any other player, than the one Phil wrote a review on.

The one in design will be a player and output device, on one board.

Sorry I couldn't help further,

James L

Nope, not our system.

Our system is not associated with the ucapps website. But interesting to see others are doing the same thing.

Not sure all of the features of the Midibox system, but we can give our specs if you need.
