Here are some photo sent into the AOBG by Bob Hammell of his newly built organ

After constructing the Tommy Newsome Castlewood 20 Note Organ three years ago I knew more about making wood pipes. I decided to attempt scratch building a two octave keyboard pipe organ. The lowest note is middle C. The 7 lowest pipes are stopped and remaining 36 pipes are open ended. The open pipes are doubled for each note to create Celeste sound. Much of this project including wind chest, pipe placement, keyboard connections to valves and wind supply was guesswork as there was no plan to follow. The results are good but not perfect as you might imagine. This is a fascinating hobby. Thanks for looking!

Thanks very much Phil for posting my organ photo on AOBG. I'm still in process of additional voicing and fine tuning. Hope to send a sound sample a little later. There are no electronics in organ--all actions are mechanical and need periodic adjustments as you can imagine! This is challanging and enjoyable hobby.
